"Nuggets of Gold" rock bookends

Taken from the Sun Downs track surface during it's renovation in spring of 2009, and then hand-painted by Ginny Harding, these rock "book-ends" were won by Nellie Schillenger of Eltopia, Washington during the races on Sunday, April 26th. These images depicted the great AQHA World Champion, Tinys Gay, and AQHA champion aged gelding, Strawkins! Both began their illustrous careers at the Sun Downs track by winning the Pot O' Gold Futurity!
